WHY CERAKOTE AUTO PARTS?

PROTECTION

Cerakote® is the industry-leading coating for protection against corrosion and abrasion. Its extreme chemical resistance, impact strength, UV stability, and hardness will give your ride protection that will last.

Cerakote can withstand temperatures up to  1,800°F without any discoloration or distortion taking place, making it the perfect match for engine components, exhausts, and more.

Cerakote out-performed John Deere JDM F14X1 Class 4 testing for high-temperature coating.

PERFORMANCE

Cerakote® offers two types of auto coatings; a high thermal emissive coating and a low thermal emissive coating.

The high-emissive coating acts as a thermal barrier to auto parts, allowing heat to be dispersed and slowly released. This boosts the performance of engine components such as headers and manifolds... The low-emissive coating also acts as a thermal barrier but reflects the heat rather than containing it. This is recommended for pistons, combustion chambers, valve tops, external turbo housings, etc.

AESTHETICS

With over 50 colors available, your ride can be customized to fit your style. Whether you choose a  classic silver or black or go bold with a primary color, you'll be sure to turn heads.

Interior and exterior trim, and exhaust systems are a few of many popular automotive components that customers request we Cerakote® when looking to amplify the overall appearance of their trucks, cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, etc.

Custom color-matching is an option as well.  Contact us today for your custom quote.

  • What is Cerakote®?
Cerakote® is a polymer-ceramic composite coating that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers, and wood. The unique formulation used in Cerakote enhances a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical/heat/UV resistance, impact strength, hardness, and more. Each of these properties is rigorously tested to guarantee that Cerakote products remain at the forefront of the ceramic coatings market; It is the most durable spray-on finish available today, with over 100 colors and finishes to choose from.
  • What's the difference between Cerakote® and Powder Coat?
Unlike powder coat, Cerakote is an extremely thin coating. It is applied at only 1-2 mils thick, which has several advantages. It does not negatively affect the tolerances of tight-fitting items and does not chip or flake. Between the media blasting that is done prior and the ultra-thin coating, virtually no thickness is added. In addition, Cerakote has a higher tolerance to heat and will not discolor when high temps are reached.
  • How does Cerakote® hold up against high temps?
Cerakote can withstand temperatures up to 1,800°F without discoloring or distorting. Cerakote outperforms industry-leading high-temp powder coats by a landslide (see image comparing the two below).
  • Can you apply Cerakote® to plastic?
Yes! Cerakote can be applied to nearly any hard surface including metals, plastics, polymers, and wood.
