WMC Takes on Cerakote Advanced Training

We had the incredible opportunity last month to attend Cerakote's 3-day advanced training course at its headquarters in Oregon. This course allowed us to improve existing techniques and hone in on some more advanced skills. We learned the application process of some sweet new patterns which we are excited to now be able to offer to customers. We also overcame some challenges we'd been facing in the shop. Advanced training is not something we plan to do just once, but repeatedly in order to continue to develop our skills to the fullest potential.

It was incredible getting to tour the Cerakote facility, see it's recent additions, and a sneak peek into some new things coming down the pipeline. We are grateful to have been able to develop lasting relationships with the trainers and staff at Cerakote. We have some exciting things brewing for 2022 and cannot wait to share the news with you all when the time is right.

The part about the advanced Cerakote training focusing on more precise application techniques and troubleshooting really stood out—it feels like the kind of skill that only clicks after hands-on practice. It made me wonder how much time people usually need before they feel confident enough to work independently after a course like that. Do most trainees struggle more with consistency or with the technical setup at first? It has that same “learning something complex step by step until it finally makes sense” feeling, a bit like a IT Assignment Helper UK moment.
